JYP Entertainment holds conference with Hottests regarding 2PM & Jaebeom
ENGLISH:
JYP Entertainment announced that staff representatives and the six current members of 2PM would be holding a conference with Hottest representatives from various fan communities (including 2ONEDAY) on February 27. The conference took place at 3PM and is still going on as I type these words; bits and pieces of the conference have already begun to leak out via text message and phone calls from the attendees.
As we are drawing all details of this article from various Korean fan sources, all notes should be treated as rumors and taken with a grain of salt until confirmed. This article is to serve those that would like a live update on the entire event, and shouldn’t be considered as fact.
The conference took place at Songpagoo Moonjungdong shopping mall in Seoul. It’s been confirmed that four all six 2PM members and Park Jin Young himself were in attendance.
Before the conference started, the attendees were reportedly served tonkatsu for lunch and received tangerines as dessert. Despite the gesture however, the atmosphere was tense, and the room was filled with many angry and crying people; one 30-year-old woman was even kicked out for yelling. Furthermore, people were asked to leave because they were secretly caught texting or recording excerpts from the conference. However, over the course of the conference, people began to calm down.
Although this event was expected to be more of a fanmeeting than a Q&A discussion, attendees did receive the opportunity to speak and ask questions. 2PM Underground, one of the fan clubs in attendance, reportedly even brought a lawyer in order to put the situation in a legal perspective at the event.
Supposedly, a video was played featuring Jaebeom saying ‘good luck’ to the six-member 2PM. However, others say that Jaebeom wasn’t aware of the contract termination at the time the video was taped; others say that this is a completely fabricated lie.
The 2PM members reportedly confirmed that they had all agreed to let Jaebeom go; furthermore, Park Jin Young stated that he would help Jaebeom if he tried to make a return by himself in the future.
We’re anticipating more factual details to be released in the next few hours, so expect a full update from allkpop soon as we follow this highly controversial matter. Again, until our official report, please keep in mind that the statements in this article are based off information we have gathered from multiple Korean fan sources, and should be considered as rumors until they are confirmed.

Konferensi berlangsung di pusat perbelanjaan Songpagoo Moonjungdong di Seoul. Sudah dikonfirmasi bahwa semua enam 2 empat anggota dan Park Jin Young sendiri hadir.
Sebelum konferensi dimulai, para peserta disajikan dilaporkan tonkatsu untuk makan siang dan menerima jeruk sebagai pencuci mulut. Walaupun acara ini diharapkan menjadi lebih dari fanmeeting daripada Q & A diskusi, peserta juga menerima kesempatan untuk berbicara dan mengajukan pertanyaan. 2 Underground, salah satu klub penggemar yang hadir, bahkan dilaporkan membawa pengacara dalam rangka untuk menempatkan situasi dalam perspektif hukum pada acara tersebut.
Semestinya, video yang menampilkan Jaebeom dimainkan mengatakan 'nasib baik' ke enam anggota 2. Namun, yang lain mengatakan bahwa Jaebeom tidak menyadari pemutusan kontrak pada saat video itu direkam; lain mengatakan bahwa ini adalah kebohongan yang benar-benar palsu.
2 anggota yang dilaporkan membenarkan bahwa mereka semua sepakat untuk membiarkan Jaebeom pergi; lebih lanjut, Park Jin Young menyatakan bahwa ia akan membantu Jaebeom jika dia mencoba membuat kembali dengan dirinya di masa depan.

[K-News]Yoo Seung Jun talks about Jaebeom

Yoo Seung Jun (Steve Yoo) recently filmed a movie for a Jackie Chan movie titled “Little Big Soldier (aka Junior Soldiers)”, he spent some time off from his busy schedule in Hong Kong for a brief sit down interview.
Not many of you may be familiar with this man and only know him through our articles so here’s just a memory refresher: Yoo Seung Jun grew up in Los Angeles as a teenager and came to Korea in his late teens to become a singer. He was one of the top K-Pop singers in the 90’s and hit his peak in the late 90s with hits like Passion, Scissors, NaNaNa, I Will Be Back and more.
Things were going good until he hit the mandatory military controversy. Yoo Seung Jun was exiled from Korea when he acquired an American citizenship to avoid doing his mandatory military service. Previous to getting his American Citizenship, Yoo Seung Jun stated many times that he would fulfill his obligation and duty to serve as a Korean male in the military. There was much backlash after this and he was kicked out of the country as this move was seen as a betrayal and he was viewed as unpatriotic. There’s been much controversy about whether he was in the right or wrong and if he even deserved the punishment he got. Recently, people have been comparing this controversy to 2PM’s Jaebeom, but in the latter scenario he left on his own whim instead of being forced out.
Yoo Seung Jun got emotional when he talked about his deportation. He stated that he never really had time to properly explain himself. He hopes that one day Korea can forgive him but for the time being he isn’t expecting forgiveness.
Yoo Seung Jun also shared his thoughts on the Jaebeom situation stating, “My heart goes out to him. I wondered how he could continue on after such an incident. As a young man he made a mistake but if people make mistakes, if given the opportunity of a second chance, don’t you think he could grow and blossom into something much larger?”
If anyone knows how Jaebeom feels, it should be this guy. Hopefully it’s a better outcome for Jaebeom though, Yoo Seung Jun is a touchy subject but I wish him the best of luck and hopefully things will work out for him.

Baru-baru ini, orang telah membandingkan kontroversi ini untuk 2's Jaebeom, tetapi dalam skenario yang kedua ia meninggalkan kemauan sendiri bukan karena dipaksa keluar.
Yoo Seung Juni punya emosional ketika ia berbicara tentang deportasi. Dia menyatakan bahwa ia tidak pernah benar-benar punya waktu untuk benar menjelaskan dirinya sendiri. Ia berharap bahwa suatu hari nanti Korea dapat memaafkannya tapi untuk saat ini ia tidak mengharapkan pengampunan.

[K-News] Lee Soo Man resigns from SM Entertainment, Avex sells shares

Edaily SPN reported that Lee Soo Man will resign from SM Entertainment and that Avex Entertainment has sold off all shares of SM Entertainment.
Apparently, SM is stating that Lee Soo Man is resigning so that SM can focus on investments and business development overseas, however I don’t see the correlation between the two events. Regardless, Lee Soo Man will no longer be engaged in business activities, however he will still remain the major stakeholder, acquiring another 1.5% of shares from Avex, making his total share of SM Entertainment, 28.3%.
In addition, the relationship between SM Entertainment and Avex Entertainment seems to be over, as Avex sold all 15.4% of their shares, with Neowizbugs acquiring the majority of it.
Avex Entertainment used to assist in promotions of SM Entertainment artists within the Japanese market, including TVXQ.
SM Entertainment was founded by Lee Soo Man on February 14, 1995.
So what does this mean for TVXQ? We’re not sure, but seeing that Avex Entertainment has sold all of SM Entertainment’s shares, it doesn’t look like good news. However, there is a silver lining in that Avex’s CEO Masato “Max” Matsuura recently blogged and tweeted about how proud he was of TVXQ with their recent accomplishments and achievements (Platinum status and more).

[Japan News]Kamenashi becomes sportscaster

On Monday, NTV held its regular press conference to talk about its programming schedule changes for the spring. Among the announcements, NTV revealed its replacement for the sports show "SUPER Urugusu," which will feature a regular role for KAT-TUN's Kazuya Kamenashi (24).
"SUPER Urugusu" currently airs on Saturday and Sunday nights at 11:55pm. Starting April 3, it will be replaced by "GOing!! Sports & News," led by Cream Stew comedian Shinya Ueda (39) and baseball commentator Suguru Egawa (54). Kamenashi will join the show on Sundays as supporting baseball newscaster.
NTV's other announcements included the ending of weekday evening news program "NNN News Realtime," to be replaced by the tentatively-titled "NEWS Every" starting on March 29

Talento Sarina Suzuki (32) and TELA-C of reggae group INFINITY16 have just become proud parents. Suzuki gave birth to a baby boy on Tuesday, and they announced the news to the media on the same day.
The pair married in December 2008 after several years of dating. Their relationship developed through their music careers, as Suzuki is also active as a reggae musician, singing under the name MUNEHIRO.

2NE1 releases Corby CF
Not too long ago, 2NE1 surprised us all and released a new track entitled Try to Copy Me. Within a couple of hours of its release, it hit the #1 spot on online music charts; within three days, the song dominated various music charts. Now, we’re here to bring you the CF behind the hit single, Try to Copy Me.
It was speculated for a while that the song would be used for an upcoming Samsung phone CF. However, it has been revealed that the song will be promoting Samsung’s Corby F cellphone instead. With artists such as 2PM and 2NE1 endorsing their phones, I’m sure Samsung will have an influx of sales this year! And without further ado, check out the CF for yourselves!
